The Best of College Football packs all of the emotion and drama into one exciting hour of touchdowns, upsets, spectacular catches and bone-jarring hits from the 2011 season. The program airs the Friday after Thanksgiving, arguably one of the biggest college football weekends of the year.
This year’s show marks the inaugural Collegiate Football Academic Index, combining football success and classroom performance with equal measure to determine the true powerhouse in collegiate football. With a number one BCS ranking and a 97 percent graduation rate, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, one of the most storied college football programs in history, debuts at number one.
