Event & Media Integration

In addition to successfully managing stand-alone event marketing programs, Intersport is at the forefront of merging national media initiatives such as brand-integrated television with experiential marketing.  This custom solution has proved over and over again that these platforms (mass media and event marketing) are more powerful when combined than they would be on their own.  As an independent producer of 100+ hours of national TV per year, Intersport has unique access to senior programmers at ESPN, FOX, CBS, NBC and ABC.

Featured Work:
The GEICO “10 Greatest” mobile marketing tours are an example of a highly successful convergence of event marketing and media.  Intersport provided turnkey management of three college sports-themed mobile marketing tours for GEICO. At each stop, leads were generated as fans voted for the all-time greats in college basketball and football.  Those votes were tabulated and translated into a one-hour network television special on CBS that counted down the best of the best.  The mobile tours made a combined 41 stops, promoting the media property along the way.
